Jasmin Singh is a Doctoral Researcher on the WHOCOUNTS team at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Her doctoral research explores how legal and administrative frameworks shape the statistical visibility of migrants in official poverty data and, in turn, the consequences for welfare policy allocation and evaluation across EU member states. She holds a dual master’s degree from the Transatlantic Master’s Program (University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Pompeu Fabra), where her research focused on the intersection of workforce activism and immigration integration. Prior to her graduate studies, Jasmin worked in Washington, D.C., in the fields of International Development and Government Technology.
