Els propassats dies 9, 10 i 11 de setembre quatre recercadors de l’IGOP van participar en la Conferència Internacional “Interrogating the Urban Crisis: Governance, Contestation and Critique“, organitzada per la Universitat de Montfort i la Urban Studies Foundation a la ciutat anglesa de Leicester.
Concretament hi van presentar les següents ponències:
- Who’s the containment dike? The problem of foreclosures and the Mortgage Victims Platform, a càrrec d’Ismael Blanco i Marga León.
- Dealing with the economic crisis: City narratives in Spain, a càrrec de Mariona Tomàs i Marc Martí.
- Changing Conditions, Changing Visions? Mapping the discourses on Local Governance after the collapse of Urban Growth. A càrrec de Ramon Canal.
