Roger Soler IGOPRoger Soler-i-Martí holds a PhD in Political Science from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB) and is currently a Maria Zambrano postdoctoral fellow at the UAB’s Institute of Government and Public Policy (IGOP). He has been a visiting fellow at Aston University (Birmingham, UK) and researcher at the Youth, Society and Communication Research Group (JOVIScom) at Pompeu Fabra University and at the Catalan Youth Observatory (OCJ)-Generalitat de Catalunya. His research focuses on the relationship between young citizens, politics and democracy, examining how environmental, economic, social, technological and cultural transformations redefine the social and political involvement of young people. He has been actively involved in national and international research projects related to these fields. His research combines quantitative and qualitative data analysis through mixed methods designs. His work has been published in several books and scientific journals, such as The Sociological Review, Journal of Youth Studies, Social Movement Studies, Social Inclusion, Comunicar or Young, among others.
