Eduardo Tapia Eduardo Tapia holds a degree in Sociology from the Universidad Nacional Federico Villarreal (Lima), a Master’s in Applied Sociology (2010) and a PhD in Sociology (2013) from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB). He is currently Associate Professor at the Institute for Analytical Sociology (IAS), Linköping University, Sweden. His research examines the mechanisms behind school and residential segregation, combining large-scale administrative data, computational methods, cutting-edge statistical models, and agent-based simulation models to evaluate the consequences of public policies in education and urban planning. He has led competitive projects funded by the Swedish Research Council and published in leading international journals.
