Clàudia Riera is graduated in Sociology from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (2024). She is currently studying for a Master’s degree in Social Policy, Work and Welfare at the UAB and works as a Senior Research Support Technician at the Institute of Government and Public Policies (IGOP) of the same university, in the European research project ECF4CLIM – A European Competence Framework for a Low Carbon Economy and Sustainability Through Education. She has experience in social intervention projects, where she participated during her internship in the Barri Espai de Convivència (BEC) project. In her Master’s Final Project, in collaboration with the Observatory of Debt in Globalization (ODG), she investigates the social dimensions of the energy transition, analyzing a case study on the social benefits and harms of green hydrogen projects in the Tarragona area.
