Antoni Verger i Planells is Professor of Sociology at the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona and ICREA Acadèmia researcher in the fields of educational policy and comparative education. He is editor-in-chief of the Journal of Education Policy and the World Yearbook of Education. He coordinates the European Master GLOBED (Education Policies for Global Development) and the research group GLANCE (Global and Comparative Studies in Education) within the framework of GEPS-UAB.
