Dani Marinova joined the Department of Political Science and Public Law at the Autonomous University of Barcelona in 2015 funded by a grant from the Spanish Ministry of Science and Education (Juan de la Cierva – Incorporación, 2015-2017). Her research is currently funded by a Marie Skłodowska Curie grant from the European Commission. Previously, she was a postdoctoral researcher at the Political Economy Cluster at the Hertie School of Governance in Berlin. She completed a PhD in Political Science at Indiana University. Research interests include comparative political behavior, political economy and welfare policy. She studies how political and econòmic contexts condition citizens’ electoral behavior and in turn shape democratic representation.
