financiado por Marie Sk\u0142odowska- <\/span><span title=\"Curie Fellowship program, promoted by the European Commission to support research in the European Union and to foster career development and mobility of researchers within and beyond the Union.\">Curie Fellowship, promovido por la Comisi\u00f3n Europea para apoyar la investigaci\u00f3n en la Uni\u00f3n Europea y fomentar el desarrollo profesional y la movilidad de los investigadores dentro y fuera de la Uni\u00f3n. <\/span><span title=\"The general objective of VINE is to analyse how the institutional context as well as individual characteristics \u2013 as gender - affects individual risk of living in vulnerable households, from a comparative and multidimensional perspective.\n\n\">El objetivo general de VINE es analizar c\u00f3mo el contexto institucional y las caracter\u00edsticas individuales -como g\u00e9nero- afecta el riesgo individual de vivir en hogares vulnerables, desde una perspectiva comparativa y multidimensional.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"WHO\n\"><strong>QUIEN<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><span title=\"Lara Maestripieri is the principal investigator of VINE and she is currently postdoc fellow at the Institute of Government and Public Policy (IGOP) at the Autonomous University of Barcelona.\n\n\">Lara Maestripieri es investigadora principal de VINE y actualmente es becaria postdoctora en el Instituto de Pol\u00edtica P\u00fablica y Gobierno (IGOP) de la Universidad Aut\u00f3noma de Barcelona.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"WHY\n\"><strong>POR QU\u00c9<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><span title=\"The VINE project was designed to analyse the interactions between social vulnerability and different individual characteristics that might magnify exposure to it.\">El proyecto VINE fue dise\u00f1ado para analizar las interacciones entre la vulnerabilidad social y las diferentes caracter\u00edsticas individuales que podr\u00edan aumentar la exposici\u00f3n a ella. <\/span><span title=\"Furthermore, the project aims to study how and in what ways individual characteristics combine to determine economic insecurity, experienced at household level.\">Adem\u00e1s, el proyecto tiene como objetivo estudiar c\u00f3mo y de qu\u00e9 manera las caracter\u00edsticas individuales se combinan para determinar la inseguridad econ\u00f3mica, experimentada a nivel de hogares. <\/span><span title=\"Compared to previous studies, this study is innovative in assuming gender to be the main analytical dimension when examining social vulnerability from an intersectional perspective.\">En comparaci\u00f3n con estudios previos, este estudio es innovador al asumir que el g\u00e9nero es la principal dimensi\u00f3n anal\u00edtica al examinar la vulnerabilidad social desde una perspectiva interseccional. <\/span><span title=\"Social vulnerability represents a major policy challenge to the sustainability of the European social model for the Europe 2020, and VINE is intended to provide new perspectives on it, being respectful of its intrinsic gendered dimension.\n\n\">La vulnerabilidad social representa un desaf\u00edo pol\u00edtico importante para la sostenibilidad del modelo social europeo para la Estrategia Europa 2020, y VINE pretende ofrecer nuevas perspectivas al respecto, respetando su dimensi\u00f3n intr\u00ednseca de g\u00e9nero.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"HOW\n\"><strong>C\u00d3MO<\/strong><br \/>\n<\/span><span title=\"The main source of information for VINE is the European Union statistics on Income and Living Conditions (EU-SILC) standard survey, and supplementary modules.\">La principal fuente de informaci\u00f3n para VINE es la encuesta est\u00e1ndar de la Uni\u00f3n Europea sobre ingresos y condiciones de vida (EU-SILC) y m\u00f3dulos complementarios. <\/span><span title=\"The EU-SILC survey provides information on income, social exclusion, housing conditions, labour, education and health.\">La encuesta EU-SILC proporciona informaci\u00f3n sobre ingresos, exclusi\u00f3n social, condiciones de vivienda, trabajo, educaci\u00f3n y salud. <\/span><span title=\"Involving a multi-dimensional explorative analysis, and multinomial logistic regression, comparing different countries (as proxies in different institutional contexts), this analysis leads to the development of synthetic indicators of economic insecurity at the household level, which interact with specific individual social vulnerability profiles\">Con el an\u00e1lisis exploratorio multidimensional y la <\/span><span title=\"The employment patterns of women in the six countries differ, as do their social models and economic performances.\n\n\">Las pautas de empleo de las mujeres en los seis
