El proyecto es financiado por el Programa Marco para Investigaci\u00f3n e Innovaci\u00f3n de la Uni\u00f3n Europea Horizonte 2020, propuesta no. 693221.[\/vc_column_text][vc_accordion collapsible=\u00bbyes\u00bb active_tab=\u00bbfalse\u00bb][vc_accordion_tab title=\u00bbObjetivos del Proyecto\u00bb][vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<div class=\" et_pb_row_inner et_pb_row_inner_1\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_column et_pb_column_3_8 et_pb_column_inner  et_pb_column_inner_1\">\n<div class=\"et_pb_text et_pb_module et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_text_align_left  et_pb_text_2\">\n<p>Muchos j\u00f3venes van a la cabeza en las nuevas tendencias sociales, culturales y pol\u00edticas, sirvi\u00e9ndose de su energ\u00eda y creatividad, pero tambi\u00e9n desde la frustraci\u00f3n ante los desaf\u00edos que afrontan. PROMISE quiere investigar las respuestas de los j\u00f3venes a estos desaf\u00edos, y busca maneras de transformarlas en mejoras sociales. Con un mayor entendimiento de las experiencias, valores y actitudes de los j\u00f3venes europeos, PROMISE estudia los obst\u00e1culos y oportunidades para su participaci\u00f3n social.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"et_pb_text et_pb_module et_pb_bg_layout_light et_pb_text_align_left  et_pb_text_3\">\n<p>PROMISE busca comprender y ampliar el rol de los j\u00f3venes en el cambio social. Para ello, se acerca con especial atenci\u00f3n los j\u00f3venes que realizan iniciativas at\u00edpicas, y con frecuencia \u201cen conflicto\u201d con las autoridades y normas vigentes. J\u00f3venes con comportamientos irregulares o informales a la hora de trazar su papel en la sociedad, suscitan a menudo respuestas negativas y penalizadoras en las autoridades, lo que trae consigo marginalizaci\u00f3n y estigmatizaci\u00f3n. Estos desencuentros reducen las posibilidades de participaci\u00f3n de los j\u00f3venes, y como consecuencia, buena parte de su creatividad, innovaci\u00f3n y energ\u00eda queda desaprovechada. PROMISE asume que entre los j\u00f3venes \u201cen conflicto\u201d existen oportunidades relevantes para el cambio social, lo que convierte su situaci\u00f3n en \u00e1rea de vital inter\u00e9s para pol\u00edticos y expertos.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=\u00bbAproximaci\u00f3n metodol\u00f3gica\u00bb][vc_column_text]A trav\u00e9s de m\u00e9todos de investigaci\u00f3n cualitativa y etnogr\u00e1fica, PROMISE explicar\u00e1 con detalle maneras alternativas de participaci\u00f3n e innovaci\u00f3n juvenil. Adem\u00e1s, PROMISE busca involucrar a los j\u00f3venes en todas las fases de la investigaci\u00f3n, con herramientas participativas como las t\u00e9cnicas de elicitaci\u00f3n fotogr\u00e1fica, y un uso intensivo de las redes sociales. D\u00e1ndoles espacio para dise\u00f1ar la agenda, documentar sus circunstancias y expresar sus necesidades. El proyecto es coordinado por la Universidad de Manchester. He holds a PhD in Political and Social Sciences from the European University Institute, Florence 2007, and an MSc in Environmental Assessment from the London School of Economics. His research combines cross-national institutional analyses and organizational case-studies to explore how different institutional regimes shape the design and implementation of public policies in the areas of employment, working-time and migration. As a researcher, he has been involved in several EU and National funded projects, such as RECWOWE and Mobile Identities. Currently he is part of the IGOP team undertaking the project: Promoting Youth Involvement and Social Engagement (PROMISE), a major EU funded research project, under the European Commission\u2019s Horizon 2020 Research and Innovation Programme, running from May 2016 to April 2019.<\/span>[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=\u00bbMargarita Le\u00f3n\u00bb][vc_column_text]<span style=\"font-weight: normal; color: #656464;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/igop.uab.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Marga-Leon.jpg\" target=\"_blank\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"espai alignleft wp-image-3563 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/igop.uab.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Marga-Leon.jpg\" alt=\"Marga-Leon\" width=\"150\" height=\"142\" \/><\/a>Margarita Le\u00f3n is Professor of political science at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Of the 2010 to 2015 He was a researcher in the Ram\u00f3n y Cajal Institute of Government and public policy (IGOP) of this University. He has been Professor of comparative public policy at the University of Kent (2004-2010) and Marie Curie researcher at the European University Institute of Florence. He received his Ph.d. at the London School of Economics with a grant from the V framework programme of the European. Account in addition, with a master&#8217;s degree in Sociological Research by the University of Essex (1995) and a Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Sociology from the University of Alicante (1994). He has published articles in numerous journals of international impact \u2019. Is co-editor along with Ana M. Guill\u00e9n of the book The Spanish Welfare State in European Context (Ashgate, 2011) and editor of The Transformation of Care in European Societies (Palgrave, 2014). His main areas of research are comparative public policy and the reform of the \u2019 welfare State. She holds a Bachelor\u2019s degree in International Relations from the Escola Superior de Propaganda e Marketing\/Brasil (ESPM), a Master\u2019s of Science in Latin American Development from King&#8217;s College London and a Master&#8217;s of Arts degree in Political Science from the Universitat Aut\u00f2noma de Barcelona. Gabriela\u2019s research interests are in social investment policies, conditional cash transfer programmes, poverty and social inequalities, focusing on Latin American experiences. In addition, she is also interested in the study of quantitative and qualitative methodologies applied to the Social Sciences.[\/vc_column_text][\/vc_accordion_tab][vc_accordion_tab title=\u00bbLara Maestripieri\u00bb][vc_column_text]<a href=\"https:\/\/igop.uab.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Lara_Maestripieri.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"espai alignleft wp-image-3612 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/igop.uab.cat\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/02\/Lara_Maestripieri.jpg\" alt=\"Lara_Maestripieri\" width=\"150\" height=\"142\" \/><\/a><a title=\"Lara maestripieri\" href=\"https:\/\/www.researchgate.net\/profile\/Lara_Maestripieri\" target=\"_blank\">Lara Maestripieri<\/a> is postdoc grantee at the Department of Political and Social Sciences at the University of Pavia, where she works as research fellow in the EU funded project CRESSI \u2013 Creating Economic Space for Social Innovation. From 2011 to 2014, she has been appointed as research fellow in the UE funded project FLOWS and WILCO (Laboratory of Social Policies \u2013 Polytechnic of Milan), working respectively on local welfare policies favouring women\u2019s labour market participation and tackling youth\u2019s marginalisation. In 2015, she has received a grant from Giangiacomo Feltrinelli Foundation to study determinants of over-education among young Italian workers. She is adjunct professor in \u201cMethodology for Social Sciences\u201d, University of Pavia, Pavia. She holds a PhD in Sociology and Social Research from the University of Trento (2011) and a MA in Applied Social Sciences \u2013 specialisation in Social Research Methods from the Catholic University of Milano (2006). In 2017, she will be appointed as Marie Sk\u0142odowska-Curie fellow at the Institute of Government and Public Policies (IGOP) of the Universitat Aut\u00f2noma Barcelona, studying gender and social vulnerability in an intersectional perspective. Main interests of research are focused on labour transformation in the post-industrial society, and in particular: marginalised groups on the labour markets (migrants, women and young); gender and social vulnerability; emerging professions.
