At the IGOP (UAB Barcelona), we offer a 3-year PhD position to explore the long-term impacts of the COVID-19 crisis on the transition of youth from school\/education to work\/employment. The successful candidate will be integrated into the Spanish research team of the project NEXT-UP, funded under the Horizon Europe call HORIZON-CL2-2024-TRANSFORMATIONS-01-10:\u00a0The Next-Up project<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n

The perfect candidate must be enthusiastic about\u00a0qualitative methods<\/b>, especially with a background in researching youth transitions or conducting biographical interviews. English and Spanish proficiency are essential for this role, along with strong sociology skills. The project employs an\u00a0intersectional analysis framework<\/b>, so candidates knowledgeable in this area are strongly encouraged to apply. This role involves travelling to other universities within the NEXT-UP consortium for fieldwork.<\/span><\/p>\n
