<\/strong>Maria Monica<\/strong> is a PhD Candidate at the Institute of Government and Public Policies (IGOP). She is pursuing her PhD in the Political Sciences, Public Administration and International Relations Program from the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB). She graduated in Government and International Relations and holds a Master in Urban Planning from New York University and a Master in Public Policy from the Externado University of Colombia. Her current research addresses institutional design, competences distribution, and public policy efficiency at the metro and local levels. Maria Monica has 10+ years of professional experience in public policy, territorial development, urban issues and international development.
