IGOP seminar Raffaele Bazurli

Raffaele Bazurli was born in Gubbio (Italy, 1989). Since November 2015, he is a PhD candidate in Political Science and Sociology at the Scuola Normale Superiore, Florence, under the supervision of prof. Donatella della Porta. He is also member of the Centre on Social Movement Studies (COSMOS) and currently visiting the Institute of Government and Public Policy (IGOP-UAB). He mainly works at the intersection between public policy and social movement studies, adopting both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. His PhD dissertation concerns the local government of immigration, as well as social movements by, in solidarity with, and against migrants – especially in the context of South European cities.
